Camp Easy · Ranger Creek

FAQ

Straight answers. No brochure voice.

What is Camp Easy at Ranger Creek?

A winter mountain experience at Crystal Mountain — not cheap lodging, not a hotel. You ski, stay under canvas, dine together, meet your village, and ski again without driving home. Heated tents, an Airstream, communal dinner, and shuttle access to Crystal. Six miles from Mount Rainier National Park.

Are you open in winter?

Yes. Winter is when Camp Easy makes the most sense — ski Saturday, camp Saturday night, ski Sunday. Ranger Creek is open 365 days a year. The tents stay heated either way.

How far is Mount Rainier National Park?

Six miles to the park. Crystal Mountain resort access is next door. Seattle is about a 90-minute drive.

Do we pitch the tents?

No. Tents are already standing with cots and mattresses, heat, and lighting. You show up for the experience — dinner, village life, morning coffee — not to build camp.

Can we book the property for a group?

Yes. Book the Airstream and the Bell Tent together for ski clubs, reunions, and small retreats — and you save 15% vs renting each alone. Your group gets beds and a village gathering spot. Use Plan a Group Stay and we will map dates with you.

Is this a luxury resort?

No. It is a winter mountain experience — honest about canvas and composting toilets, designed to remove bad discomfort. Not a hotel. Not ordinary camping. Something entirely its own.
